Fellowship Of World Christians Launches New Online Social Networking Feature Called ’FAITH BOOK’
By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries
LONDON, ENGLAND (ANS) -- "FAITH BOOK," a new online social network feature has been launched by British pastor, Michael Bassett, in London, England, as part of the Fellowship of World Christians.
Bassett told ANS, “Most of you are already aware of ‘My Space’ and ‘Face Book’ the online networking tools which have revolutionized the way business, friends and family can communicate freely today.
“I personally have not got my own ‘My Space’ or ‘Face Book’ as I saw it as only more time I would have to spend in front of a computer screen. I spend so much time on the Internet as it is replying to minister’s questions, business inquiries and of course my circle of friends and family along with doing web related stuff with websites. Like many of you my time is very valuable and I must make decisive choices as to where I am going to spend most of it.
“This is where ‘FAITH BOOK’ comes into the equation, for here I can communicate with like-minded people and still be active in the ministry - communicating, giving, receiving, learning, teaching and generally being a blessing to those I wish to further draw closer to me among my friends on the FOWC ‘FAITH BOOK’ NETWORK OF BELIEVERS.
“So let me encourage all of you to take a little time to check the CHRISTIAN CUSTOMISED COMMUNICATION TOOL and hopefully you also will see it as an important part of your continued outreach to your friends in ministry and in life and get involved.”
“FAITH BOOK,” which was launched on February 9, 2008, already has 322 members.
